Schlapp was focused throughout the process, working closely alongside the White House's legislative and political affairs teams along with policy shops as well as larger communications teams to oversee policies' implementation. Schlapp stated that after that the Washington Examiner ran a story with negative remarks about Sayegh she had a discussion with him.
